It's a new year, and I feel so grateful for the wonderful array of events and venues that I had the opportunity to perform for last year...
2022 saw the start of a quarterly residency at Rick Stein Restaurant in Sandbanks, a monthly Sunday jazz residency at Framptons New Forest. My duo performed at the prestigious Avingdon Park Estate for the Queen's Jubilee Celebrations, and several private Jubilee champagne picnics. I enjoyed an impromptu sing of The Great American Song Book in a beautiful boutique residence on the shaws of Lake Como, Italy. As well as a selection of sparkling wedding receptions, cocktail parties, and a festive jazz afternoon on 24th December to put everyone in the Christmas swing!
I'm lucky to work with some wonderful musicians and all round lovely beings - Mike Relf (guitarist, Kelivn Jones), Shane Hill (guitarist, Jo Harrop), Jevon Beaumont (bassist, Moloko, Voodoo Room), Max Gilkes (1Sonic, Ninja Tunes), Gavin Courtie (double-bass, song writer extraordinaire), Derek Barnes (Coryphaeus, Royal Shakespeare Co) ... thank you all.
This coming year looks to be full of sweet musical events... I hope that you can make it to some! A new video for my jazz trio, and album recording is in the pipe line... watch this space!
